As an undergraduate student at St. John Fisher College, I was able to obtain a massive amount of experience through Cardinal Television which is co-curricular club that provides students with the opportunity to gain hands on media production experience. Throughout this club, I have fulfilled positions such as General Manager and Treasurer. Also, I have hosted my own sports show, assisted in directing or being a cameraman for specific shows, and have shot several meaningful events on campus.

         Not only has CTV offered me the opportunity to grow my skills but so has internship programs such as 13WHAM in Rochester, New York and SPORTalk in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Both of these internships helped me grow my skills as a student and as a future employee of a company. They have also afforded me the opportunity to network with professionals in my field. I enjoyed my time at both of these internship programs and I am truly grateful for my bosses for taking me under their wig.

          Another experience opportunity I am grateful and appreciative for is my involvement as a Program Participant for an organization called Living Sport. In this position, I was afforded the opportunity to tour several sporting stadiums in the Florida area, network and connect with sport professionals as I gained insight within the sports world, and I was able to be an Ambassador for the NHL All Star Break Fan Festival. My biggest takeaway from this is that I learned more about the sports business and my professionals skills were developed tremendously.

          All of these things have developed and ensured my inspirations of becoming a Sports Broadcaster covering all varieties of sports. I believe with the skills I have developed, the leadership roles I have taken on, and with the networks I have connected with that I will be successful in my field of interest.
